If a student has a score of 61% in a course that has 3 units, then the student’s letter grade is B and the corresponding point is 4. Therefore the student’s grade point (GP) for that course is 3 x 4 = 12.
GP = number of units X corresponding point.
2 Grade Point Average (GPA)
The grade point average (GPA) is the average of grade points for the semester.

3 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)
